Senate District 36 encompasses portions of Ramsey, Anoka, and Washington County, and represents much of what is great about the state of Minnesota — friendly neighbors, beautiful nature, and small town charm.

How to Vote
Register
In order to register to vote, you must be
• a US citizen
• 18 years old on Election Day
• an SD36 resident for at least 20 days
• finished with all parts of a felony sentence
You can register online, on paper, or at a polling place on Election Day. You will need different forms of ID dependent upon which registration method you use so please check the rules as soon as possible.

In order to learn exactly which candidates and ballot questions you will be voting on, review the sample ballot. It will be available 45 days before the election.
Get out and Vote!
Early voting in person and by mail runs from September 23 – November 7. Election day voting is November 8. Find your polling location and vote.
